Rush at Thorpe Park has finally reopened after more than a month of downtime. Additional inspection platforms have been installed at the top of the structure to enable more thorough inspections and maintenance of this area.
Colossus has also been down following an incident. We understand that a bolt popped out from one of the track connections. Each piece of track on the spineless sections connected together with just two bolts, so additional attachments have now been added, doubling the number of bolts to four per connection. Nets have been installed under parts of the track to shield passers by from anything that may fall from the ride in the future.
